Turia Rock Club Community Rules
Last updated: September 2026
This is a translation for convenience. The Spanish version is the binding one.
Turia Rock Club exists to promote live music in Camp de Túria and Valencia, and to grow it by connecting musicians, bands, fans, venues, professionals and anyone interested in being part of the area’s music scene.
We want a space to meet people, discover music, share opportunities, collaborate, network and, above all, enjoy ourselves.
Our spirit comes down to something very simple:
Music · Respect · Peace · Good vibes · Laughter · Collaboration
To keep that atmosphere, we set out the following rules of participation.
By requesting or keeping access to the Community, you confirm that you have read and accept these rules.
1. Respect and getting along
Everyone taking part in Turia Rock Club must treat others with respect.
The following are not allowed:
- Insults, threats, intimidation or aggression.
- Harassment, bullying or humiliation.
- Discriminatory language or behaviour.
- Personal attacks.
- Deliberate provocation.
- Messages intended to stir up conflict or confrontation.
- Conduct that creates an intimidating or hostile environment, or that is clearly harmful to other members.
- Any behaviour contrary to applicable law.
Differences of opinion, musical taste or judgement are perfectly normal and part of any community.
You can disagree. You don’t have to think alike. What you do have to do is stay respectful.
2. What the Community is for
Turia Rock Club is a community about music and everything around it.
The Community’s channels are mainly for things like:
- Music and musicians.
- Bands and musical projects.
- Concerts and events.
- Looking for musicians.
- Collaborations.
- Venues and music spaces.
- Training, workshops and activities.
- Instruments and gear.
- Professional projects related to music.
- Work or collaboration opportunities within the sector.
- Networking.
- Recommendations and experiences related to music.
- Anything else with a reasonable connection to what Turia Rock Club is about.
The groups should not be used as general-purpose channels for matters unrelated to music.
In particular, please avoid political debates, chain messages, viral content, mass messaging, spam, commercial outreach unrelated to the group’s purpose, repetitive advertising and anything else that would undermine how it works.
We want noise on stage, not noise in the group.
3. WhatsApp groups
The Community may use different WhatsApp groups for different purposes.
These may include, for example:
General group: for people interested in music and in the area’s music scene.
Musicians’ group: aimed particularly at musicians, bands, collaborations, professional opportunities and matters related to musical activity.
The administrators may create, change, merge, close or replace groups whenever they consider it useful for how the Community runs.
Each member should use each group according to its purpose.
Phone number visibility
WhatsApp is a third-party platform, and the way it works means that in certain groups participants may be able to see other participants’ phone numbers and some profile information.
Please bear this in mind before joining a group.
You may not use phone numbers, names, photographs or other data obtained through the Community for purposes other than taking part in the Community itself — in particular for commercial campaigns, mass messaging, spam, unsolicited outreach or any unlawful activity.
The Spanish data protection authority (AEPD) has noted that sharing personal data through messaging services may fall under data protection law where an organisation or professional is involved and confidentiality is breached.
4. Posts, promotion and your own projects
We encourage members to share their projects.
You may post, where relevant to the Community:
- Concerts.
- Bands.
- Songs and videos.
- Projects.
- Workshops.
- Professional services related to music.
- Instruments or gear.
- Searches for musicians.
- Collaboration opportunities.
Promotion should be reasonable and respectful.
You may not use the Community as a database of potential customers, or run mass advertising or commercial outreach campaigns using contacts obtained within it.
The administrators may limit or remove promotional posts where they consider that their frequency, content or purpose is harming how the Community runs.
5. Content posted by members
Each member is responsible for the content they post or share.
Whoever posts content warrants, to the extent legally applicable to them, that they hold the rights or permissions needed to share it and that posting it does not infringe third-party rights.
The following must not be posted:
- Unlawful content.
- Content that infringes third-party rights.
- Other people’s personal data without a lawful basis or, where required, their permission.
- Copyright-protected material without the necessary rights or permission.
- Fraudulent or misleading content.
- Content liable to seriously harm other members or the Community.
Turia Rock Club may remove content that breaches these rules or whose continued presence could harm the Community, without that implying any authorship of or responsibility for content posted by third parties.
6. Dealings and agreements between members
Turia Rock Club provides a space to meet and talk.
We are not a party to any agreement members reach with each other.
If two or more members:
- book a performance;
- buy or sell an instrument;
- agree to collaborate;
- form a band;
- engage a service;
- make a payment;
- work together on a project;
- or reach any other agreement,
that agreement is directly between the parties.
Turia Rock Club does not guarantee the solvency, professionalism, availability, quality, experience, contractual performance or conduct of Community members or of any third parties appearing in it.
Each member should therefore make the checks and take the precautions they consider necessary before hiring, paying, collaborating or sharing information with another person.
None of the above excludes any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
7. Events, concerts and opportunities posted by third parties
Posting a concert, event, offer, opportunity or proposal within the Community does not mean Turia Rock Club recommends, guarantees or endorses it, unless we expressly say otherwise.
The details, prices, terms, timings, availability, fees and other particulars of an activity posted by a third party should be checked directly with the organiser concerned.
Turia Rock Club may remove a post where there is reason to believe it may be fraudulent, misleading, unlawful or harmful to members.
8. Privacy and personal data
To run the Community we may ask for certain personal data, such as:
- Name.
- Phone number.
- Email address.
- Information relating to participation in the Community.
This data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which sets out, among other things, the data controller, the purposes, the legal basis, how long data is kept, who receives it and users’ rights.
These Community Rules do not replace the Privacy Policy.
Accepting these rules does not in itself amount to consent to receive marketing communications where consent is required.
Where relevant, the different processing purposes and communications are handled through the corresponding notices and consent mechanisms.
9. Email communications
Turia Rock Club may use email for communications relating to running the Community, on whichever legal basis applies.
Where marketing communications require consent, we will ask for that consent and provide a simple, free way to withdraw it.
Electronic marketing communications are subject, among other rules, to Spanish Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce.
10. Moderation
Turia Rock Club administrators may, where necessary:
- Warn a member.
- Ask them to change or remove content.
- Delete or moderate posts.
- Close conversations.
- Temporarily or permanently limit a member’s participation.
- Remove a member from one or more groups.
- Remove a member from the Community.
Moderation measures are applied according to the seriousness, nature, repetition and circumstances of each case.
A criminal offence or legally punishable conduct is not required for administrators to step in within the Community.
11. Removal from the Community
Turia Rock Club may remove any member who breaks these rules or whose conduct is incompatible with the Community running well.
To protect members and the project, Turia Rock Club may also limit or end a person’s participation where there are reasonable grounds to consider that their continued presence could significantly harm the atmosphere, safety, functioning or spirit of the Community, even where the specific conduct does not fit exactly within one of the cases listed above.
This will be exercised in good faith and reasonably, avoiding arbitrary decisions and respecting in all cases the rights recognised by applicable law.
Removal may happen with or without prior warning depending on how serious the situation is.
In serious cases — for example threats, harassment, discrimination, fraud, unlawful publication of personal data, or conduct that could put other members at risk — removal may be immediate.
Removal from the Community does not prevent any rights or actions being pursued where appropriate under applicable law.
12. Safety and offline activities
Taking part in Turia Rock Club may lead members to meet and build relationships offline.
Each person freely decides who they contact and what activities they take part in.
Turia Rock Club cannot guarantee the identity, intentions, conduct or personal circumstances of everyone taking part in the Community.
We recommend acting with care, especially during first contacts, and taking whatever safety measures and precautions each situation calls for.
Activities organised directly by Turia Rock Club may have additional specific terms, which will be communicated in each case.
13. Use of the brand and the project
Taking part in the Community grants no rights over the brand, name, logos, content, designs, photographs, videos, materials or other items belonging to Turia Rock Club or their respective owners.
You may not use Turia Rock Club’s identity to pass yourself off as the organisation, speak on its behalf without authorisation, or present a private activity as if it were officially backed by Turia Rock Club.
14. Changes to these rules
Turia Rock Club may change, extend or update these rules where necessary because of changes in the Community, new features, new channels, organisational changes or changes in applicable law.
The version in force will be available on the corresponding page of our website.
Where a change is significant, we may tell members through the Community’s usual channels.
15. Acceptance
By requesting access to the Community, you confirm that you:
- Have read these Community Rules.
- Understand what they say.
- Undertake to respect them.
- Accept that breaking them may lead to moderation measures or removal.
- Understand that WhatsApp is a third-party platform and that using it involves certain terms and visibility of information between participants.
- Understand that Turia Rock Club is primarily a space to meet and talk, and that dealings, agreements and activities carried out directly between members are the responsibility of the parties involved.
OUR GOAL
All of the above exists to protect something far more important than a set of rules:
the community.
We want Turia Rock Club to be a place where:
🎸 musicians find musicians;
🎤 bands find stages;
🤝 collaborations happen;
🎶 people discover new bands;
📣 opportunities get shared;
🧑🤝🧑 people with common interests meet;
😂 there is laughter and a good atmosphere;
❤️ and there is more and more music in Camp de Túria and Valencia.
We are not after a perfect community.
We are after a community that is alive, open, respectful and good fun.
Music + Respect + Community
Welcome to Turia Rock Club.
